Abstract

Author of almost three hundred fictions for young people, Christian Grenier has written only one autobiography for this readership. On the other hand, he often reveals himself in his novels, borrowing the masks of his characters to do so. This is especially the case with the characters of writers who appear in his novels. His autobiographical confidences offer the reader the opportunity to play by decoding these personal references. Indeed, Christian Grenier has a playful approach to autobiographical writing, practicing autofiction – even self-fabrication – with humor.
