Abstract

Comic book adaptations of literary masterpieces are a category of their own. Stéphane Heuet has stripped Marcel Proust’s Recherche to the bone. We will’ be looking at the extent to which he has remained faithful to the original, and how he has exploited the specific resources of his medium.
