Abstract

Through the analysis of two contemporary Francophone novels, Mireille Gagné's Le Lièvre d'Amérique (2020) and Alain Damasio's Les Furtifs (2019), this paper examines how the narrative of the posthuman can provide insights into political resistance through its gnosiological function. From this perspective, the article aims to explore the various representations of resistance in the corpus, analyze the political dimension of the posthuman character, and determine the literary effects by identifying the emotional intensification techniques employed by the authors, drawing on the theoretical contributions of Vincent Jouve. These techniques enhance the immersive and didactic experience of the reader.
