In the work of Tanguy Viel, it is primarily the 2006 novel Insoupçonnable that we will examine for its melancholic scope, where money, desire, and social conditions merge under gazes that filter the lack of being. Following this, the biblical fresco developed in the triptych Péplum / Personal Jesus / Cet homme-là, born under the sign of Giotto, will be observed obliquely.
