Anthology would undoubtedly be the founding principle of Tanguy Viel’s narrative poetics. Ontological and formal, the passion for citation reflects the narrators’ fascination with false brothers, whose words they collect with devotion. However, this anthology turns against them: the narrators must surpass it to find the grand phrase that can overcome the fragmentation of people and the world, speaking everything in a single breath.
