The BlackBookBlack project involves creating a network of libraries that possess a black book with black pages. The book, composed of black engravings, is partly made during the performance. It is then placed in the library along with a few rules of use: the black book should not be indexed in the traditional way, and the book should be regularly moved to different shelves. The BlackBookBlack project is the creation of a trio of artists: Alexia de Visscher, Miles O’Shea, and Olivier Deprez. A website archives the data of the BlackbookBlack: http://blackbookblack.net/.
